The new MU-31 highway Project, with an approximate length of 4,1 Km, started at the beginning of 2009. It will run along the southwest of Murcia city and will be mainly used by the traffic coming from the west of Murcia and heading to Cartagena via the A-30 or vice versa, improving thus the traffic in this area.

Encofrados Alsina took its presence at Construmat Fair to announce its new formwork systems, many of which are aimed to Civil Engineering. Besides, in the Fair framework, the jury of the Construmat 2009 awards recognized the research work of Encofrados J. Alsina, S.A. in the category of Building Processes with the presentation of a diploma for the experimental study of the evolution of loads in post-shores and one-way slabs during the construction of buildings, which reaffirms, once more, the bet of the company on innovation at high level.

Jaume Alsina Casalduero, 35, has a Masters Degree in Economic and Business Sciences awarded by the Pompeu Fabra University and a Post Graduate Degree in International Management. After spending more than 7 years of his professional career in the marketing department of a multinational company in the textile-fashion sector, in the year 2000 he began working for Encofrados Alsina to begin the International Projection Project. He currently coordinates several Alsina Business Areas.

Jaume Alsina Oliva and his brother Josep Alsina Oliva are the managers of Encofrados J. Alsina, S.A., a company founded by his father fifty-five years ago. The company was founded as a timber store in Barcelona, twenty years ago the company began to sell formwork panels and nowadays it is one of the main Spanish formwork companies, designing, manufacturing, selling and hiring with the ISO 9001:2000 certificate for all its processes.
