Alsina does not cease in its efforts to seek new ways and opportunities helping to ease the transition from the current crisis in the sector. A new proof of it is the capacity of adapting Alsina systems to meet new types of works in the Building field; in particular, the stabilization of façades.
The stabilization of façades is made on those occasions in which the façade of a building needs to be kept while demolishing the floor supporting it and building a new one.
For the first works, and by means of an agreement, Alsina subcontracted the technical study and the endorsement of the projects to an external engineering company. Within this collaboration framework, a prop keeping the façade anchored in its original position was designed, calculated and implemented. This system prevents the possible collapse of the façade due to the horizontal stresses produced during the demolition of the floors of the building and guarantees its stability until the façade is properly connected to the new floors.
For this type of projects, Alsina offers its Multidirectional system, which combined with the Multiform system beams, is perfect to implement the stabilization of façades. Up to today, several similar projects have already been implemented with very satisfactory results, what is encouraging the company to offer this type of works in a regular way.
