Rehabilitation of Las Arenas Shopping Center – Barcelona

The Shopping Center "Las Arenas" is located in the central Plaza España of Barcelona. This project is a work of great technical complexity in which Alsina has taken responsibility of the assembly and the project visa in the phase of ended of the building.

For the execution Alsina used the CL-40 Shoring System acting always as platform of work for workers (in no case it has supported big loads). It is a central circular zone of 24 m in height and 16 m of diameter where in addition a few radial arms were mounted.

Alsina also was responsible for the assembly of scaffolding work around the inside perimeter of the arena and several independent working scaffolds. At the moment Alsina is riding two radials. This is a very complex work due to the existing metal structure supporting the roof. The customer is fully satisfied with the service provided by Alsina both assembly and the proposed format (up to 18 planes made by following guidelines of the project manager).

Itaroa Huarte Shopping Centre – Pamplona

The profitability of the broad range of Alsina products for this type of projects allowed this large new shopping centre to be built in only five months. One notable aspect was the large expanse of lightened bi-directional slabs made using the N-12 and N-16 Alucubetas system, and the erection of hundreds of columns using Alispilar, a column system with excellent performance on site and excellent finishes. In the end, a total of 100,000 m2 of slabs were built.

Puerta Alicante Carrefour Shopping Centre – Alicante

Alsina systems were used for the structure of the 120,000 m2 of slabs required for the project. An Alucubetas temporary formwork system with permanent coffers was used, with a 12 cm rib and centre-to-centre distance of 80 cm. Our slab system perfectly meets the needs of the market, offering a good finish and, above all, quick and easy assembly. These features have the advantage of using Alucubetas and making the most of the formworking processes.
