Alsipercha

Preventive security element designed to prevent falls from height during the decking formwork phase. Alsipercha is formed by a folding steel body and a retractable device that gets blocked when it suffers accelerations (similar to a car safety belt).

This system allows the operator working in total safety when setting decking panels, security handrails, gallow type safety nets, side shutters and generally in all situations related to the formwork assembly in which the risk of a fall from height may arise (high floors, perimeters...). Alsipercha provides the operator with a stable and safe anchoring point with a 125 m2 autonomous working area.

CERTIFICATIONS
•Bureau Veritas Quality International España S.A. certifies that the Alsipercha fall arrest system is a safe and efficient system to prevent falls from height.
•APPLUS certifies the static and dynamic tests as the Alsipercha system complies with the UNE - EN 795 Standard.
•The Asociación de Consultores de Estructuras produced a report regarding the influence of the presence of a cast-in steel tube on the resistant capacity of the reinforced concrete columns.
•The Universidad Politécnica de Valencia produced a report regarding the influence of the fall arrest system on the resistant capacity of the reinforced concrete supports.

OPERATION
1.First, the conical metal Tube is casted-in the reinforced concrete columns (approximately the 50% of the columns of the floor to be decked) to allow the accommodation of the Alsipercha system.

2.Once the concrete reaches 40 Kg/cm2 (15% of its resistance) the Alsipercha system can be placed. The System is inserted in the conical Tube and the operator gets anchored to the retractile Device by means of a security harness. The operator is ready to work freely in a 6,5 m action radius, which means about 125 m2.

3.Alsipercha can also be used with steel section columns like IPE, IPN, HEB, etc. and with sections between 15-45 cm. To do so we must use the Steel Column Pin and Vase Steel Column Pin sets, both manufactured as per the UNE EN-795 Standard and certified by Applus
