The project: Residential Building in Punta del Este

Alsina’s formwork delegation in Uruguay began in November 2012 its collaboration in the construction of the Alexander Boulevard apartment building in Punta del Este (Uruguay), in charge of the client Frimel S.A.

This residential construction, which was completed two years later, in November 2014, involved the construction of 20.000 sq m of total area distributed in 24 stories, for the creation of 2 and 3 bedrooms luxury apartments with terrace.

The building also has a double height access hall and common areas such as outdoor and indoor swimming pool, solarium, gym, sauna, massage room or a party hall for 100 people, among others.

Alsina: Versatile and effective solutions for residential construction.

For the implementation of the project, Alsina supplied its Alisply Walls Handset, Alumecano Plywood and Alisan scaffolding systems, without the need to design any product adapted to the project given the versatility of its formwork solutions.

Alsina’s Alisply range includes several recoverable formwork systems for the construction of walls and columns. This is a resistant, versatile and compatible system with all other accessories from Alisply family systems, a fact that makes so much more profitable the formwork equipment on site.

The formwork surface of different types of Alisply is made of plywood, which offers many advantages over metal surfaces, such as lower weight, higher concrete quality, increased performance and greater resistance to inclement weather.

On the other hand, Alsina’s Alumecano Plywood system is a robust, safe and lightweight structural steel mechano system with a revolutionary duralumin tilting and a phenolic board-framing surface that is perfect for roofing, as it allows fast assembly and recovery of 80% of the elements three days after concreting.
