Sequoia Tower (Mexico)
Alsina’ Formwork delegation in Mexico is collaborating in the construction of the Sequoia Tower, in the center of the Bosques de Santa Fe urban complex in Mexico City.
The building, which will become the highest icon of this area of the city, will have 26 stories that will include 33 departments of 520 m2 each and 8 departments of 770 m2, as well as 2 Pent-houses of an approximate area of 990 m2, conditioned to customize the finishes to the residents taste, in addition to common areas, gym and parking.
Alsina: Versatile and effective solutions for the implementation of skyscrapers
The company Construcciones, ingeniería y innovación AG2M, S.A. of C.V., in charge of the project, has relied on the services provided by Alsina’s Mexico technical and commercial team to carry out this important project.
For the vertical elements implementation, Alsina has supplied its modular formwork system Alisply Walls, a resistant, versatile and compatible system regarding its accessories with each of Alisly’s family systems, which makes the use of the equipment very profitable on the job. The surface of the Alisply system is phenolic, so it offers multiple advantages over metallic surfaces, such as lower weight, higher quality of concrete, increased performance and greater resistance to inclement weather.
On the other hand, Alsina has supplied its Mecanoflex system for the construction of the ceilings, an ideal system for the type of wide slabs that implies the project by its total ease of assembly and high profitability. The use of Gama G post-shores has been key in the productivity of the project, its New quick-release system reduces the removal time and allows to advance in the cycles of formwork.
