Clark Railway project
Clark International Airport is one of the newest International Airport hubs in the Philippines. It has been established to decongest air and land traffic in Metro Manila. To promote the airport to its local citizens and international travelers, the Railway project has been designed to connect it to Metro Manila and nearby provinces. This project is only one of the stations of the said railway within the Philippine National Railways Clark Phase 2 project which is 53km long. This project can boost both transport, influx of tourism, and direct or indirect employment for the locals.
Alsina Southeast Asia Corporation had provided multiple formwork solutions for the different structures within the CIA Station such as Walls, Slabs and Columns. Alsina provided the Alisply Heavy panel solutions up to 7.0m in height for the Basement 2 to Basement 1 level and 5.0m height panel solution for the Basement 1 to Ground Level of the said station. Alsina also provided Alisply Walls panels solutions for different column dimensions and heights of the station. Column solutions varies from 5.0m to 7.10m height all in one cast. Alisply Heavy Panels is one of the best performing Panel solutions of Alsina that is highly flexible to different heights and dimensions. It is made of steel frames that is necessary for heavy duty constructions incorporated with a phenolic surface to provide a quality finished concrete necessary for the requirements for the project.
Alsina also provided multiple formwork systems for the solutions of the Slabs. AR-80 is a shoring system with a capacity of 80kN per leg is used for bottom support for the decking of the slab soffit formwork. AR-80 is a ring-lock system that is widely used for various projects due to its high capacity and flexibility both in height and plan dimensions. The slab formwork or decking and the Lateral formwork for the sides of the slabs employs Multiform system. The multiform system is also widely used in a variety of structures and projects due to the reliability of the combination of the 2UPN Steel beams as its primary beam and the HT20 Wooden beams as its secondary beam.
The decking/slab formwork has been designed by Alsina as modules to make it easier for workers to assemble on the ground and lift on top of the prepared AR-80 shoring system. It resolved efficiency of assembly on site.
