Last Wednesday, June 13 the Consultants of Structures Association (ACE) celebrated the award ceremony of the 5th edition of the ACE AWARDS, a contest promoted with the aim of recognizing the best structure designed and carried out over the last four years.

The awards ceremony took place at the “Restaurant Jardí de l’Abadessa – Barcelona” and contemplated three types of awards: Prize for the best structure, Prize for the best small structure and Prize to the best investigation work, study or report, category in which Alsina was the winner.

The jury unanimously decided to award the first prize to the Load limiter for telescopic post-shores on site Patent project, carried out by José Miguel Adam Martínez, Yerid Alexander Alvarado Vargas, Manuel Buitrago Moreno, Pedro Antonio Calderón García and Juan José Moragues Terrades y Alsina. With this award ACE wanted to place value on the technical contribution, the interest in the subject, as well as having dealt with a neuralgic point in the building process and its originality.

All winners were awarded with a diploma and with the recognition of the institution; besides being offered to be members of the jury in the next edition of the ACE Awards.

This is not the first time that Alsina has been recognized by the jury in the ACE Awards for its research work, since the formwork company has received several awards and mentions since its first edition in 2013.  From Asina we are honored to be recognized by ACE in our constant commitment to innovation and the development of new building solutions.
