North Tarrant Express
Alsina is working together with Bridge and Roads, in the construction of the North Tarrant Express 35W Segment 3C North, in Fort Worth, Texas.
In this new transport infrastructure, Alsina collaborates with the formwork solutions for Abutments, Columns and Caps.
It is noteworthy to mention that for the execution of the Caps, three different types of solutions are being used:
On the one hand, for monocolumns & hammerheads, Corbels are used, with threaded jacks on which two W girders are supported. Multiform Tables and Alisply Wall panels, are placed on them.
For multicaps, Self Spanning formwork system is being used, supported by 70kips brackets. These panels are also being used for the columns.
Finally, for the construction of straddle bents, H33 Truss is used either supported on column brackets similar to monocolumns, or supported on the TC360 Heavy Duty Tower shoring system; Over the truss beam, Multiform tables and Alisply Walls formwork are placed.
