ALSINA WILL GIVE A CONFERENCE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF GRANADA

Alsina Formwork will give the conference “Shoring Criteria and constructive recommendations in the design and implementation of concrete structures” at the University of Granada on November 5.

The lecture, given by architect and Alsina´s Formwork technical and training manager Jordi Gracia Leache, will bring together 40 structures master students and professors from the University of Granada and will focus on offering the essential tools and knowledge so that the phase of setting and stripping structures is carried out under optimal safety conditions both for the workers and for the structure itself.

Thus, the lecture program will include issues such as underpinning calculation and structure´s shoring and stripping control according to the current regulations (EHE-08), the different types of formwork and construction procedures (EHE-08 Guide), loading phases on struts and slabs, the explanation and conclusions of the research project carried out by Alsina and the UPV (STC Calculation Software) and its applications along with a detailed underpinning study, as well as constructive recommendations to be followed during the implementation of the structures.
