Alsina participated in ExpoCamacol 2022
Alsina was part of ExpoCamacol 2022 with a stand visited by more than 1,500 people interested in our products and services. The most important construction fair in Colombia, which was held from August 24th to 27th, was an excellent opportunity to strengthen ties, see the faces of old customers and establish new relationships. All kinds of profiles passed by the stand number 23 in the Pabellón Blanco, in the heart of Medellín’s Plaza Mayor, from contractors and builders, to industrialists, students and guilds, to developers and builders. It was a pleasure to meet them all.
The 24th edition of ExpoCamacol was a success and business expectations were well above the organizers’ initial forecasts, which estimated around $300 million. 90% of the attendees were from the construction sector, with a large international participation. Visitors came from 40 different countries and Alsina’s stand was visited by a large number of people interested in our services from Central America and the Caribbean, to mention a few.
We were able to reinforce old alliances and establish new bridges due to the great interest in our infrastructure projects such as ports, bridges, tunnels and housing. “Expocamacol is a great tool to promote innovation, business development and exports from the entire supply chain of the sector. These results reflect that more construction is more economic development” said Camacol’s president, Sandra Forero Ramírez. Under the slogan Thank you for building experiences together, Colombia’s leading construction fair had 320 exhibitors spread over eight pavilions in three days, that included conferences, demonstration spaces and a commitment to innovation in the sector.
