New thickness gauge device

This device is capable of measuring the wall thickness of a hollow metallic body, at any point along its length, quickly and non-destructively.

It can, after study and adaptation, carry out the measurement in almost any type of profile as long as it is hollow and metallic.

Thanks to the measurement principle on which it is based, the result obtained is the “resistant” wall thickness, that is, the measurement result discriminates possible internal or external coatings that do not collaborate with the mechanical resistance of the profile (for example, paints, oxides…).

As it is easily transportable, it can work both with easily manipulated profiles and with profiles of an existing construction that cannot be moved.
