NEW VIDEO ABOUT ALSINA’S ALUCUBETAS SYSTEM
Alsina has produced a new video about its Alucubetas formwork system and has made it available on its youtube channel.
Alucubetas is a recoverable formwork system that allows making two-way waffle slabs with reusable domes, widely used in facilities such as car parks, malls, schools, sports facilities, etc., allowing a maximum saving of concrete due to its design.
Alucubetas allows making slabs with a standard 2′-7 1/2” x 2′-7 1/2” (80×80 cm) grid (with 4 3/4” (12 cm) ribs), allowing the implementation of other rib dimensions.
Our vast experience has enabled us to reach the optimum design of the new Alisan bucket in injected polypropylene, which is adaptable to the standard Alucubetas system elements and provides minimum deformations, minimum breakage and maximum easiness in form removal.
On the other hand, and following the criterion of the maximum saving of concrete, Alucubetas provides a high profitability: three days after pouring concrete 80% of the common elements of the system (such as support girders, intermediate girders, tilting girders, buckets and bulkheads) are recovered for reuse. Then a line of girders every 7′-10 1/2” (2,40 m) provides shoring until 21 or 28 days later, when the concrete reaches its characteristic resistance.
When using 7 7/8” and 1′-3 3/4” (20 and 40 cm) domes the distance between girders will be 1,60 m.
