Alsina introduces the new Slab Formwork Mecanoflex System Video, which shows the simplicity and, above all, the product’s speed of assembly in just a single minute.
Mecanoflex is a recoverable slab formwork system designed to adapt to any type of perimeter, since it solves merging hanging beams without any problem thanks to its high flexibility on site.
Mecanoflex uses only three basic elements (Multiple U-shape joist bearer, Intermediate Joist and Joist inlaid with wood) made of high-strength steel by means of a braced system that prevents joists to overturn, and allows using any formwork surface, panel or phenolic, as well as nailing the board / phenolic in the joist as its interior is made from wood.
This system, backed by the reiterative use of Alsina’s customers for many years, is very versatile and fast and easy to assemble, which allows achieving high performance in concrete slabs implementation.

Mecanoflex System Features
- Lightweight and simple: The metal joist is 7,71 Ibs (3.5 Kg) per linear metre. This is the element that has to be laid most times, therefore it has to be lightweight and resistant.
- Flexible: The system structural elements, the multiple U-shape joist bearer and the Joists have been designed to be overlapped in both directions. This characteristic allows the Mecanoflex system to adapt to all kinds of perimeters, regardless of their irregularity.
- Safe: The Multiple U-shape joist bearer can house, indifferently, both an Intermediate Joist and a Joist inlaid with wood. Both elements are fixed and fastened during assembly to ensure the formwork process.
