Construction Zajari in Bogotá
Located in Bogotá (Colombia), the construction Zajari, the first social housing project of the Colombian company Marval S.A., built with the simple assembly manual system – Wallite, supplied by Alsina Colombia.
Alsina Colombia ventures into industrialized type formwork by implementing the Wallite system for light wall formwork that provides great versatility and adaptation to any geometry.
The system has a quick joint that provides high assembly productivity. With only 4 panel widths, a single corner and few easy-to-fit accessories, it can be adapted even to confined spaces.
When assembling this system, a greater profit is obtained compared to similar systems, since assembly times have been shortened. Cleaner and better quality finishes are achieved by having panels with a phenolic contact face with these systems 50% the personnel required for the assembly and disassembly of the equipment compared to a traditional metallic system.
With regard to the durability of the panels, it was observed that executing almost 50% of the project, that is to say, that on the 10th floor with 50 uses or castings for the Wallite system, detachment of the phenolic board began to be observed with the frame, lost of the phenolic film of the used face and marks in the finished concrete of both the ribs of the frame and of the film; but thanks to its design in which the phenolic can be reversible, the other side of the plywood could be used after 60 uses, allowing the best characteristics to be provided to the project.
