Mohammed VI Boulevard Casablanca Bridge
In 2022, a new bridge was built in Casablanca, on Boulevard Mohammed VI, at its intersection with Boulevards Driss El Harti, Dakhla, Amgala and AlQuds.
Longest urban bridge in Morocco
Alsina Morocco | Afrique studied and designed the formwork for the civil works part, using several types of systems including an effective solution with Multiform and AR Shoring.
Multiform is a very versatile horizontal formwork system that adapts to many geometries for bridge decks and slabs.
AR Shoring is a support structure for slab formwork. It is mainly characterized by its high load capacity: 80 kN per support.
With a length of 620.4 meters and a width of 16.1 meters, ensuring 2×2 lanes of traffic, the bridge in its new version will help to massively speed up transportation on one of the main arteries of the economic capital.
The bridge serves as an intersection for 4 boulevards; Dakhla, El Quds, El Harti and Amgala, as well as being connected to the third line of the tramway and the first line of the new busway.
The traffic flow on Boulevard Mohammed VI will undergo a significant change. The work on the Mohammed VI bridge is almost completed.
Thank you so much to the BIOUI team for their confidence.
