Pachacútec WWTP in Peru
Cleaner water for 200.000 inhabitants in Peru. Alsina is providing its systems for the construction of the Pachacútec WWTP in Peru.
The project is the third of three stages of the Pachacútec macro project, which seeks to expand and improve the drinking water and sewerage system in the district of Ventanilla, Peru.
This third stage involves the construction of a wastewater treatment plant and discharge to the sea through a land and submarine outfall. The construction of this treatment plant is being carried out by Acciona.
This project will benefit approximately 200,000 inhabitants of the Ventanilla sector.
Acciona has developed several initiatives in the communities near the plant during construction, such as health education for the population, information and dissemination of the project, and cleaning of the Playa Cavero beach, among others.
For the construction site, Alsina has provided its formwork systems Alisply Manual, Alisply Circular, Wallite, Mecanoflex, Multiform and AR Shoring. About 700 m2 of formwork were executed in an approximate area of 45,000 m2.
Different concreting cycles were guaranteed, with a very fast production, for a project of great importance for the district of Ventanilla and the whole country.
