Alsina participates in the Central Park Stadium extension in Uruguay
The project: Sports equipment in Uruguay
Alsina’s Formwork delegation in Uruguay began in 2017 its collaboration in the
extension of the Central Park Stadium, a football stadium owned by the Football Club Nacional, located in La Blanqueada neighborhood in Montevideo, Uruguay.
This sports equipment project, which will be completed in 2018, is part of a complex that includes a sports center with tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, and shares the block with low-rise buildings of mainly residential use. The complex receives a large influx of public events and has a continuous, independent and daily activity that qualifies and activates the urban space on a neighborhood and city scale.
The project consists of the extension of the stands Atilio García and Abdón Porte, thanks to which the stadium will grow its capacity from 28.000 spectators to 40.000 spectators. In order to do this, they have implemented the pillars, beams and slabs of the structure, some of which were 35 cm thick and were more than 25 meters high.
Alsina: fast and versatile solutions for the construction of equipment

Alsina’s Alisply range includes several recoverable formwork systems for the construction of walls and columns. This is a resistant, versatile and compatible system with all other accessories from Alisply family systems, a fact that makes so much more profitable the formwork equipment on site.
The formwork surface of different types of Alisply is made of plywood, which offers many advantages over metal surfaces, such as lower weight, higher concrete quality, increased performance and greater resistance to inclement weather.
On the other hand, Alsina’s Mecanoflex system is an ideal system to adapt to any type of perimeter, since it solves merging hanging beams without any problem thanks to its flexibility. It is also a very versatile and easy to assemble system, which allows high performance.
