The project: civil works in the Philippines
Alsina’s Formwork delegation in the Philippines began in 2017 its collaboration in the improvement works of the Water Treatment Plant of Rizal, in the Philippines.
This civil works project, which will be completed in 2018, consists of
the construction of twelve different structures for the improvement of the plant, all implemented with Alsina material. Once the project is finished, the plant will supply water to the entire province of Rizal.
Alsina: effective and safe solutions for civil works
For the implementation of the project, Alsina has supplied its Alisply and Alisply Manual formwork systems, of which thousand 3×1 panels have been supplied with their complements, and thanks to which they have been able to safely implement 8 meters high walls with a good finish, an a high performance pace on site. In addition Alsina has also supplied AR-80 Shoring system, Mecanoflex formwork systems and VCM Friendly beam and HT20 beams for the implementation of the ceilings.
Alsina’s Alisply range includes several recoverable formwork systems for the construction of walls and columns. This is a resistant, versatile and compatible system with all other accessories from Alisply family systems, a fact that makes so much more profitable the formwork equipment on site. The formwork surface of different types of Alisply is made of plywood, which offers many advantages over metal surfaces, such as lower weight, higher concrete quality, increased performance and greater resistance to inclement weather.
On the other hand, Alsina’s Mecanoflex system is an ideal system to adapt to any type of perimeter, since it solves merging hanging beams without any problem thanks to its flexibility. It is also a very versatile and easy to assemble system, which allows high performance.
Finally, Alsina’s recoverable Friendly Beam VCM (Modular Hanging Beam) system is the only recoverable formwork system designed specifically for hanging beams forming that allows to recover up to 80% of the equipment within 72 hours after concreting. This is a metal system with easy assembly that solves the problems arising from the use of timber and non-recoverable formwork beams, composed of elements made of reinforced steel frame and phenolic surface. With this new system, Alsina helps to achieve an orderly, safe and cost-effective process when shuttering beams, since it is designed to reduce the time and improve the quality of the formwork and stripping of the beams.
