Alsina participates in the ski slope extension at the Soldeu Station in Andorra
The project: Ski Slope Extension in Andorra
Alsina Formwork has begun its collaboration in 2018 in the extension of the Ski slopes at the Soldeu Station in Andorra.
This civil works project involves the construction of a platform to extend the well-known Avet slope, used in the Alpine Skiing World Cup, on one of its margins, in order to allow simultaneous slalom and grand slalom events to be held during the Finals of the 2019 World Cup.
In order to do this, Alsina has collaborated in the implementation of lintels on 16 piles at 26 meters high, which will be completed this year 2018.
Alsina: practical and safe solutions for civil works
Alsina has supplied its Multiform Horizontal formwork system and release wedges for the construction of the platform, as well as it provided Heb profiles through windows in the piles that support the entire formwork, thus avoiding the use of scafolding and adapting to the needs of the project and the client.
Alsina’s Multiform system, consisting of double UPN metal beams, wooden beams, strips and turnbuckles is one of Alsina’s most versatile systems, allowing “ad hoc” design of the necessary recoverable formwork to adapt to any geometry whether they are straight, curved or one sided walls, lintels or bridge boards.
Date of completion: 2018
