Construction of government projects in Dubai
Alsina Formwork Middle East is pleased to announce a new project in collaboration with one of the leading companies in the construction of government projects, especially those for the police and military commands.
The project is divided into three zones of approximately 2,000 m² each. Alsina’s involvement began in February 2024, supplying the necessary vertical elements, including core walls with manual Alisply and columns with Alispilar.
One of the main challenges is the support of the beams, as the slab is prefabricated. The beams vary in depth from 0.80 m to 1.50 m and in height from 6 m to 12 m. They must support the load of the prefabricated slab, which can extend up to 16 m. Alsina Formwork has carried out all the necessary calculations and developed a detailed work method to ensure that the AR-SHORING system, with a capacity of 80 kN per leg and combined with the Multiform system (steel 2upn with H20 beam), can support all the expected loads.
For some standard reinforced concrete slabs, Alsina has used the Mecanoflex system. This flexible formwork system adapts to any floor shape, using a multiple “U” support girder and a girder. Mecanoflex has proven to be a versatile and efficient solution in the construction of complex slabs.
Alsina is committed to offering formwork and shoring solutions that meet the highest standards and adapt to the specific needs of each project. This new project strengthens Alsina’s relationship with its client and allows the company to demonstrate the efficiency and versatility of its systems in challenging projects.
Alsina Formwork is proud of this collaboration and looks forward to continuing to provide innovative and high-quality solutions in construction.
