New data centers for technology in India
Alsina India’s subsidiary has recently collaborated in a project to build the AIGP IT PARK, a data center in Pune, India. This type of construction is booming in the country and represents a great opportunity for the company.
The owners of data centers are usually technology corporations or other companies with a very high need for data management such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, among others. These are non-residential building projects where the requirement to meet the deadlines set by the client is of the utmost importance.
In this case, Alsina supplied around 15,000 m3 of AR shoring at a height of 7.5 meters to form multiform tables of 8×4 meters. Each table was supported on two 257×207 shoring towers.
One of the challenges we successfully overcame was the horizontal and vertical movement of the tables without stripping the formwork. The horizontal movement was done with standard formwork wheels while we used slings for the vertical movement.
The client was very satisfied with the service provided and the performance of the equipment on the construction site.
In fact, he has decided to implement this same solution in a new project.
The collaboration between Alsina and the client company has resulted in a successful project in the data center construction sector in India.
