ALSINA SPONSORS THE OCCUPATION FAIR DI-CAPACITY AND TALENT “SÍ Y MEJOR” OF THE CITY OF BARCELONA

The event was organized by the Federation of Special Work Centers of Catalonia (FECETC), with the support of the Barcelona city council.

The “Sí y mejor” Fair took place between September 21 and 23 at Palace 8 of the Fira de Barcelona in Montjuic, part of the Saló de l´Ocupació.

As in previous editions, the objective of the fair is to facilitate the employment of people with disabilities by putting them in contact with companies interested in hiring them and, at the same time, providing tools to gain skills that help them find work.

According to the latest data from the 2020 Report of the Labor Market of people with disabilities of the Public Employment Service (SEPE), the difficulties of insertion of the group are shown with the percentage that represents the hiring of these workers over the total of the State . While people with disabilities of working age are 6.29 percent of the national population, their hiring represents only 1.58 percent of the total.

Alsina, who has always been very sensitive in aspects such as social and labor inclusion, did not want to miss the opportunity to show his support for this event, which represents some of the values in which our company believes and represents.
